Our story
Everest Optik's founder, Mehmet Akif Doğanay, was born in Istanbul in 1984 and entered the trade in 1997, still very young, at Dural Optik in Sirkeci under his master and uncle Alaaddin Karabulun. He worked in every corner of the sector: watch and eyewear manufacturing, pharmacy optics, the Sirkeci tradesman culture and shopping-mall retail.
Doğanay Group carried the franchise model it had proven in the watch business into eyewear, and the first Everest Optik store opened in 2023. Within a year there were 8 branches. Our head branch is in Çekmeköy Çavuşbaşı.

"Everest" stands for the summit we want to reach in optics. The name is more than a brand: it is the symbol of how we understand excellence, innovation and trust. As a modern, elegant and reliable brand we want to give our customers an experience, not just a product, and to meet at the summit with everyone who walks with us.

To be the first name that comes to mind when people say "glasses", recognised and trusted in Turkey and abroad. In a world where those who do not grow shrink, we chose to grow; and more important than the number of branches is that every branch delivers the same quality and the same customer satisfaction.

Our stores carry local and international brands, from fashionable premium designs to functional, durable economy products. Our aim is for customers to see us as their family's optician.

Shopping online
Choose your product online and pick delivery to your address or collection from our store at checkout. For products that need prescription lenses you choose the frame online and we fit the lenses in store; the law requires it, and so does your eyesight.
